Earn Toward Medallion Status with Delta Vacations
SkyMiles® Members who book a Delta Vacations package earn $1 Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) per $1 spend on their Total Package Price†. Here’s a breakdown of how you will earn MQDs:
- All passengers in your booking will earn MQDs for the flight portion of the package based on Exception Fares.
- In addition to the MQDs earned on the flight portion of the package, as the primary passenger who books the package you will also receive MQDs on nonflight portions of the package, such as hotels, rides, cars, and activities. The amount of MQDs you earn for this nonflight portion equals the difference between the Total Package Price and the combined MQDs awarded to all passengers for the flight portion.
Earning Miles On Your Flight with Delta Vacations
When you vacation with us, you'll earn at least what you would normally earn on your Delta flight, just slightly different because you are booking a package. For your flight, you'll earn miles one of two ways: miles when you fly or miles when you fly with exception fares. Whichever of these two ways is the greater amount for your trip, you will earn that with Delta Vacations.
