Many airlines assess a fee for checked luggage. These fees are payable directly to the airline and are therefore not included in the Delta Vacations package price. Travelers with two separate tickets issued on two separate airlines should check each of the ticketing carrier’s specific baggage rules and will apply to each ticket. Travelers with flights on separate tickets will need to claim and recheck their bags and pay any imposed baggage fees to the operating carrier while in transit.
